No. Our service is really flexible. You can book both services or just one.
We cover North London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire & Leicestershire. We will cover outside of these areas, but will charge additional fees.

Yes. We charge a deposit of £275 for our Disco service and £99 for our Venue Decor service.

No. We will install our Bose sound system that uses the latest sound technology that will not activate the sound limiter. We operate our sound systems at sensible volume levels so that you can enjoy the music and still be able to have a conversation with your guests.
Yes. We have £10million of PLI insurance and will provide our latest certificate to you upon booking. We also have PAT certification Link and Risk Assessments for our range of sound and lighting equipment.
This depends on the package that you select. We always aim to be able to install the majority of our packages within 1 hour, but will advise you if we will require more time. For the disco package we normally arrive 90 minutes before the contracted start time of your function so we are ready to gain access as soon as we can. For the decor package we would ideally set this up before you arrive at the venue.
Yes. You can book our early set-up service for a one off fee of £80. We will arrive before 10:30am and normally be out of your venue by 12:30pm.
Each lighting fixture should be spaced no more than 2 meters apart from each other. This will provide continuous lighting across the walls or area that you want illuminated. In a standard sized function room catering for 100 people we would normally install 24 mood lights. Larger venues/marquees may take up to 32 lights. We have up to 42 mood lights available.
Yes. You can choose one colour; Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Cyan, Green, Pink, Purple or White.

Yes. You can mix up to three colours. Colours available are: Teal, Turquoise, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Ivory, White, White Snowflakes, Black, Silver, Gold, Lilac, Purple, Cerise, Pink, Light Green, Dark Green, Red, Red Hearts or Burgundy.

Yes. You can add extras up to four weeks before your function date.
Yes, we can stream background music for you prior to your first dance or if you wanted background music during the day you can book the early set-up service where we will leave automated background music streaming throughout the day until we arrive in the evening to perform.
Yes. Please see our Song Selector and User Guide Document where you can build a bespoke playlist for your function. We can play roughly 20 tracks per hour so you can work out how many tracks will be required.
Please Note: We have noticed some incompatibility with the Song Selector software and Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) where some functions of the Song Selector are not available and in some cases your song selections may not be saved. This is an error with IE11 and not the Song Selector. To avoid any issues please do not open the Song Selector with Internet Explorer 11. All other operating systems are reported as compatible.
Yes. The all-inclusive disco package includes up to 4 hours performance time, however you can add on extra DJ time as you wish. We charge £25 for every 15 minutes of extra time over the four hours.
Yes. We will install a star cloth DJ booth and our Bose sound system. We will play seating background music, entrance of the bride, signing of the register music, exit of the bride & groom music. We will spot light the entrance of the bride. We charge £250 for this service. In addition, we can dress the room with drapery/star cloths or mood lighting – please see our decor service…
Yes. We would survey the venue to understand your exact requirements and then provide you with a quote – If we know the venue, we will be able to tell you straight away. We charge £23 per meter – the cheapest price in the UK, so if you wanted to get a fairly good estimate yourself, simply measure how many meters you would like covered. We can provide White drapes, Black drapes, Black drapes with White voile champagne glass overlays, White Starcloths & Black starcloths.
Yes. We offer a pin spot illumination service where you can select what colour you would like. We can also pin spot each of your tables around the room – this can create a great atmosphere.
No, not currently. We simply don’t have the demand for them.
No. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service as our insurance only allows our DJ’s to perform on our sound systems.
If you have ordered our dry Ice effect for your First Dance please inform your venue that the dry ice will be delivered directly to them by courier the day before your function. It will be marked for the attention of the DJ and should not be opened. It should be stored in a cool, dry place away from any radiators, heat source or direct sunlight. Dry Ice must not be placed in a freezer or refridgerator. The DJ or Special Effects technician will collect it from the reception area on the day of your function. Dry Ice cannot be cancelled once ordered.
Yes. We can provide disco effect lighting (NightClub 360 Package) along with other lighting, star cloth backdrops and special effects if you wish. Please see our venue decor service.
Yes. We regularly perform alongside live bands/acts and will work with them in harmony providing seamless links between sets creating a fun and professional entertainment atmosphere.
Space required for Equinox-Storm to perform does vary but as a minimum guide 2 metres deep x 4.5metres wide x 2.5metres height to accommodate the Rig, backdrop system (excludes 6 Meter backdrop), lighting & speakers. Additional equipment requested through our ‘Package Upgrades’ will require additional space. It is the responsibility of the lead name on the booking form to ensure that there is adequate space for the disco to fit as detailed above. If you have booked multiple Package Upgrades please contact us for clarification on how much space is required.
Yes. When Equinox-Storm perform in a Marquee we have to allow extra time to set-up and dismantle our equipment. We have to ensure that the ground is level and the mains power supplied is adequate. Occassionally, we have to make adjustments to the internal drapes to ensure our lighting fixtures do not touch the material. Sometimes we are unable to drive our vehicle to the Marquee entrance…. These are just a few of the hazards we may come across when setting up your entertainment system and DJ booth within a marquee. Our Equipment will also require cleaning the day after a Marquee Function due to extra dirt, pollen & dust that occurs in an outside environment. If it is not cleaned properly these contaminants will stick to the cooling fans of our sound amplifiers and intelligent lighting systems making them less efficient and consequently overheat. For these reasons we charge a Marquee Premium of £100 per Function to cover our additional time. This charge will be added to your package price. It is YOUR responsibility to provide the following:
- We will need at least 2 x 13 amp mains sockets (not extension leads) You MUST provide 2 power sockets within 6 Meters of where you would like the Disco to set up. Please contact us to confirm if you are not sure.
- You MUST ensure that the ground is level (spirit level!) where you want the Disco to set up. If the Road crew Team finds that the ground is not level then they will not set up the disco due to Health & Safety responsibilities. The disco must have a hard surface to set up on, such as a stage or dance floor.
We won’t be able to use the Haze machine as this may set off the fire alarm.

No. The letters are not IP65 rated (weather proof) and therefore are strictly for indoor use only.
